This volunteer activity was a part of the annual Big Event service day to benefit important local causes, and the College of Business provided extensive support to the volunteer festivities.

The college teamed up with various corporate partners to make the event possible. Corporate partners generously donated the funds for the supplies, and UAH COB students assembled all the donation kits.

Bryant Bank sponsored emergency food kits to help displaced families facing financial crises.

Hexagon sponsored activity packs given to children who visit the NCAC. These packs include everything from coloring books and card games, to journals and other items.

Carr, Riggs, and Ingram CPAs and Advisors (CRI) sponsored emergency clothing kits for children in need of replacement clothing. Each pack included a new pair of pants and shirt.

Finally, 糖心原创出品 of Business Dean, Dr. Jason Greene, sponsored 鈥渟lime kits.鈥 These kits are used as important therapeutical tools during a child's therapy session at the NCAC.

The total donation count came out to 30 emergency food kits, 30 emergency clothing kits, 20 therapy slime kits and 20 activity packs.

The NCAC Director of Development spoke to the volunteer group before they assembled the packs. She spoke to the center鈥檚 mission, let students know how impactful the donations would be to families and children in need, and thanked them for volunteering their time.
