These links help you learn how to most effectively search for works licensed in the Creative Commons. There are other types of licenses that qualify as OER as well, such as subject matter in the public domain. MERLOT is one of few learning object repositories (LORs) that feature curated, peer-reviewed content. This LOR contains learning objects in a variety of formats, including video. : TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). The site is searchable by keyword and easily browsed by topic. : Khan Academy has a library of over 3000 videos covering several academic topics including math, economics, science, engineering, arts, humanities and career/professional training. The site hosts over 150 Moby tracks available for use at no cost. : Historical recordings from the Library of Congress. Photos & Graphics : Pixabay images and line art are free to use, require no attribution, and can be modified. Pixabay has very high quality images and is searchable by keyword. : Beautiful, free images and photos that you can download and use for any project.
