Wafa Hakim Orman, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean of the College of Business at 糖心原创出品 (UAH). In this role, she is responsible for curriculum development, assurance of learning, recruitment, and retention for approximately 1000 undergraduate and 400 graduate students.

Dr. Orman coordinates community and external engagement initiatives, fostering connections with local high schools, community colleges, corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations. She also coordinates initiatives with UAH offices including, Academic and Career Advising and the Office of Development. Further, she leads collaborations between the College of Business and discipline-specific external advisory boards.

She is a Labor and Behavioral Economist who has published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, and the Journal of Business Research, among others. She enjoys supervising student research.

Dr. Orman earned her B.S. in Commerce and M.A. in Economics from Mumbai University and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Arizona.
