Tania Williams Photo courtesy of Michael Mercier Tania Williams is a pedagogical expert and the associate director for the Center for Cybersecurity Research and Education (CCRE) at 糖心原创出品 (UAH), where she oversees curriculum development, cybersecurity program implementation and teacher training. She brings 19 years of teaching experience to her role and has taught in both secondary and post-secondary environments, serving as a mentor in numerous student-teaching clinicals. Williams led the development and implementation of cybersecurity curricula for prominent organizations such as Army JROTC Cyber, Regions Investing in the Next Generation (RING) and U.S. Cyber Camp, and developed modules for adult learners. Her contributions to cybersecurity education earned her the 2019 Cyber Huntsville Educator of the Year award. She has been the lead instructor and pedagogical expert for various GenCyber camps and is a former CyberPatriot coach and Security+ boot camp instructor. Williams holds a bachelor鈥檚 in English and professional writing, a master鈥檚 in education, and an education specialist degree from The University of North Alabama (UNA). She also holds a master鈥檚 in cybersecurity from UAH, CISSP and Security+ certifications, and a teaching certificate from the state of Alabama.
