Daniel Cavender Photo courtesy of Michael Mercier Daniel Cavender joins Rubicon Space Systems with over 15 years of expertise in spacecraft propulsion, bringing a wealth of experience from his tenure at NASA鈥檚 Marshall Space Flight Center. There, he served as the Center Deputy Chief Technologist and as a Project Manager in the Exploration Systems Development Branch. During his time at NASA, Mr. Cavender led the development of low-toxicity chemical propulsion technologies, including managing the propulsion system for JPL鈥檚 Lunar Flashlight spacecraft and supporting the Green Propellant Infusion Mission (GPIM). A recognized leader in the field, he chaired the NASA Green Propulsion Working Group and was a driving force behind the nationwide advancement of environmentally friendly 鈥淕reen鈥 propulsion systems.
