Tilly Evans grew up in the Huntsville area before attending Liberty University, where she began working in the custodial department to help pay for her tuition. Her strong work ethic and leadership potential were quickly recognized, leading to her promotion to Supervisor and eventually Senior Supervisor.
After graduating, Tilly returned to Alabama to be closer to her family and soon found an opportunity that aligned with both her experience and passion鈥攋oining the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) as a Custodial Supervisor. Confident in her ability to support and contribute to the department's growth, she embraced the role, helping to build and strengthen the second-shift custodial team.
Tilly values her position not only for the responsibilities it entails but for the diverse group of people she has had the privilege to meet and lead. While the role comes with its share of challenges, she views them as opportunities for growth. She is eager to continue developing her leadership skills through this program to better support her team and contribute meaningfully to the department鈥檚 success.
With a focus on continuous improvement, Tilly is committed to growing both personally and professionally at UAH and looks forward to the opportunities ahead.
